2017 STEP-UP Internship applications are due February 10!
Every summer, STEP-UP Interns ages 14 to 21 join MPHA (along with other nonprofits and businesses across the Twin Cities) for a paid summer job that includes:
- Valuable job experience
- Building professional skills
- Expanding their network of support
- Exploring career interests
- Earning a paycheck

STEP-UP places Minneapolis students with barriers to employment in paid summer jobs at top Minneapolis businesses and local non-profits. All STEP-UP interns complete a rigorous work readiness training curriculum, and then are eligible to be placed in summer jobs at places including MPHA. All training classes this year will be on Saturdays at Minneapolis Community & Technical College (MCTC).
