Alice M. Geronsin Apartments

Built in 1963, the Alice M. Geronsin Apartments are made up of 35 one-bedroom units. This 4-story high-rise building is in the St. Anthony West neighborhood near St. Anthony Park and Dickman Park.

Laundry machines, property management offices, and resident community spaces are all conveniently located on the first floor of the building. The first-floor community room offers seating and kitchen making it a great place to chat with neighbors. Residents use this space for resident council meetings, meetings with support staff, and community activities. Alice M. Geronsin Apartments also boasts wonderful outdoor space featuring a patio, swing, picnic tables and a grill. This space allows residents to enjoy the fresh air and relax outside.

Formally known as the Sibley Triangle Apartments, the building was renamed to honor longtime resident and community advocate Alice Geronsin. Building residents led the effort to get the building renamed after Alice passed away in 2024, recognizing her unwavering dedication to improving the quality of life for her fellow residents. With overwhelming support by residents, staff, and commissioners alike, the initiative was presented to and approved by MPHA’s Board of Commissioners on February 26, 2025.
