MPHA will only be accepting online applications for the Public Housing Disabled Waiting List through the MPHA Rent Café Portal. Applicants will need to visit the portal website to register an account and complete the pre-application process. To register your account you will need a valid email address and your full social security number.

Click on this link to open the MPHA Rent Café Portal website: portal.mphaonline.org

From the portal home page click ‘Applicant Login’ in the upper right corner of the page. On the next screen select ‘Click here to register’ to begin the registration process. Once you complete the registration information, the portal will confirm the registration was successful and you will begin the pre-application process. Once you have completed your pre-application you will receive an email confirming your pre-application was submitted for review.

Applicants that are applying for the disabled list will be contacted after the pre-application is submitted to verify disability status. If you are applying as a disabled individual and are not receiving SSI Disability Income, you must provide a Request for Medical Information Form completed by your physician. This must accompany your pre-application. The disabled member must also be the Head of Household or Co-head of Household. The link to the Medical Information Request Form is provided below.
