The Step Up application period for 2019 is now OPEN! Apply by February 10.
Every summer, Step Up connects Minneapolis youth ages 14-21 with over 200 top local employers—including MPHA—for a paid internship that includes:
- Valuable job experience
- Building professional skills
- Expanding their network of support
- Exploring career interests
- Earning a paycheck
Step Up places Minneapolis students with barriers to employment in paid summer jobs at top Minneapolis businesses and local nonprofits. All Step Up interns complete a rigorous work readiness training curriculum before they are placed in summer jobs. All training classes are held at Minneapolis Community & Technical College (MCTC).
