Minneapolis Highrise Representative Council (MHRC) members and staff, along with MPHA staff, joined many others at the State Capitol on May 6 for the Homes for All Rally to make a big push for state bonding for public and other affordable housing. Advocates gathered to ask Minnesota state legislators to make essential decisions on the budget that preserve and create the homes we need to serve our lowest-income families. MHRC president Mary McGovern shared her story on the steps of the Capitol and several other residents attended in support of the Homes for All – MN legislative agenda.
